Description
A newly formed medical device company is preparing to launch a U.S. sales organization in the GI/endoscopy space. The company will sell FDA-approved endoscopic/surgical products used in GI procedures, including products such as hemoclips, forceps, snares, and related endoscopy accessories.
This is an early leadership opportunity for a strong GI/endoscopy sales leader who can help build the commercial organization from the ground up. The company is looking for someone who can develop the sales strategy, help identify key markets, recruit and manage the first sales representatives, and personally understand how to sell into hospitals, GI labs, ASCs, clinics, and procedural settings.
This is not a corporate maintenance role. The right person will be hands-on, entrepreneurial, and capable of helping a new company build credibility, open accounts, hire the right people, and grow revenue.
Compensation will be competitive for an experienced GI/endoscopy sales leader and will likely include a strong base salary, performance-based upside, expenses, and potential additional incentives depending on the candidate’s background and fit.
Requirements
- Strong GI/endoscopy medical device sales experience.
- Prior sales leadership experience managing medical device sales representatives.
- Experience selling into hospitals, GI labs, ASCs, clinics, or procedural settings.
- Ability to recruit, train, manage, and develop territory sales representatives.
- Strong understanding of physician relationships, hospital purchasing, ASC sales cycles, and value-analysis dynamics.
- Experience with endoscopy accessories, hemostasis products, clips, snares, forceps, tissue acquisition, biopsy, or related procedural products is strongly preferred.
- Existing relationships in the GI/endoscopy space are a plus.
- Must be comfortable in an early-stage/startup environment where the role requires both strategy and hands-on execution.
- Entrepreneurial, credible, polished, and able to help build the company’s commercial foundation.
